Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with our services

General Terms

  • For the matte finish laminate solely BWP plywood will be used. To achieve the perfect finish in high gloss and acrylic laminates the front side of the fascia will be fabricated from HDHMR ( High Density and High Moisture Resistant) Board, while the carcass will be constructed from BWP plywood.
  • The final price of the project will be determined based on actual measurements, project scope and any modifications in design , material or finishes. Any such changes may result in a price increase/decrease accordingly.
  • The initial estimates may exclude Civil, Plumbing, Gas Piping, Electrical Work, Wallpaper, Appliances, Sink, Granite, Glass, Mirror, CNC Work, Curtains & Furnishings, Floor treatments such as: Wooden Flooring & Floor Tiles, Painting, Wall Cladding & Other wall treatments. The exact value of the works will depend on the site conditions.
  • Unless and otherwise specified, Inner Laminate provided will be of Off-White. Any colour/texture inner laminates will incur Rs. 50/- extra per sq/ft.
  • Electrical points beyond false ceiling, (Pooja, TV Unit, Crockery Unit, etc.) will be charged separately as per actuals.
  • Material and installation of bathroom utilities, curtain rod fixing, Special Handles, Additional Shelf will incur extra charges.
  • The initial quotation includes only the shutter costs for the lofts due to site variability, base cost estimation is excluded. It will be determined and designed based on actual measurements if required.
  • GST will be applicable as per prevailing Government tax regulations and will be calculated at the time of payment.
  • Waste from wood work and false ceiling work will be cleared. Depending upon the client's needs, additional services such as demolition, tile laying, granite laying, wall cladding, bathroom fitting and fixture plumbing, electrical work, core cutting, piped gas and painting may be arranged and will be charged extra.
  • Proper care will be taken to prevent damage to finished work, though minor marks or scratches may occur. Kindly note that this is beyond our control despite our best efforts.
  • During civil work (including false ceiling, electrical, plumbing, gas piping, wall demolition, wall partition, etc.), hand marks & scratches may occur and are inevitable. A final coat of paint post project completion is recommended which will incur additional charges.
  • Work will be executed based on the final drawings approved by the clients in the sign-off document and no modification or site alterations will be considered once the work begins. Such work will be treated as additional and will affect overall cost and timeline.
  • Changes and alterations after material dispatch will not be entertained, as they affect the project timeline and the workflow.

Delivery Timeline & Guarantee

  1. Design Stage: The timeline for design stage differs based on the scope of project and client's satisfaction. And the Number of revisions is limited, 2 design Iterations with live revisions are allowed for each project.
  2. Production Stage: The production timeline varies from 15 working days to 20 working days depending on the volume of the project.
  3. Implementation Stage: The standard implementation timeline requires a minimum of 45 working days which includes the implementation of Modular interior works (Kitchen, Wardrobes, etc.), False Ceiling, Standard Electrical works (Creation of new points, shifting of existing points), Countertop services (Granite removal, Chipping, Tiles removal & installation), Installation of appliances, cleaning services.
    1. The standard implementation timeline may vary depending on the additional tasks such as installation of wallpaper, Final Coat of Painting, Installation of Wooded Flooring.
    2. Delivery of Loose Furniture's, Installation of curtains & furnishings, Electrical Fixtures Like (Ceiling Fan, Designer Lights), Home Automation are not included in the scope.
    3. If the overall scope of services includes non-standard electrical work civil renovation activity the timeline for implementation will differ accordingly.
    4. The delivery timeline will subject to the site-readiness and any restrictions related to site work timings.

The delivery timeline will also depend on the site-readiness and restrictions on site work timings.

  1. If there is concurrent work being done parallel at the site by any other third-party contractor during the carpentry work installation may impact the schedule.
  2. Any additional requirements after production will lead to extend the timeline.
  3. If the home owner is residing onsite may slow down the work.
  4. Abnormal hindrances in execution like force majeure, power outages, non-operational lifts, no permission from the builder, etc. can cause delays.
  5. If the quotation value exceeds 15 Lakhs, then the delivery timeline may be extended due to the increased scope of work.

Warranty Terms & After Support

The Customer is entitled to a warranty claim only for products against genuine manufacturing defects. Damages due to improper use are not covered under the warranty. Warranty will not be applicable if the invoice amount is not fully settled by the client or if there are any pending dues from previous services.

12 Years Replacement Warranty

Applicable for the woodwork if wood found to be defective or damaged due to genuine manufacturing defects.

Warranty Coverage:

  • All accessories and hardware as per manufacturer's warranty policy
  • One year manufacturing warranty for false ceiling
  • 3 months replacement warranty for LED lights installed

Warranty Exclusions:

  • Water damage - wall seepage, dampness, wear and tear damage, negligence, discoloration or improper use and termite
  • Improper material maintenance, improper or harsh cleaning methods, negligent use and inadequate care
  • Electrical installation issues and water leakage from AC unit or other appliances
  • Discoloration due to excessive lights, other natural and man made factors
  • Handles, glass, mirror, sink, tap, counter top (Granite, Quartz, Solid Surface, Nano white etc.), tiles
  • Plumbing work, painting, wall trims, piped gas, wall paper, civil work
  • Cushion, curtains and blinds, wood work which is site casted and any other decorative items
  • Rusting of channels, hinges or other metallic components due to exposure to household chemical or sprays

Important Notes:

  1. Damages to furniture handles and doors due to misuse such as hanging or stepping will not be covered
  2. Accessories (hinges, slides, locks etc.) installed inside and outside the cabinets are made from virgin steel, chromium coated, PVC etc. are susceptible to rust under conditions where the flats/villas are nearby coastal areas, there is continuous water contact, rooms kept closed for more than one month without air circulation, moisture, and acid-wash
  3. Damages caused to any product due to these reasons will not get any warranty or eligible for free service
  4. Warranty will not cover the failure of lights due to voltage fluctuation issues

Post-Completion Support:

  1. For any concerns after project completion and hand over, please contact the aftercare support team
  2. We provide one complimentary visit to the site, within 3 months of the project completion and hand over. This includes minor alignment of shutters, loft, drawers & accessories
  3. After complimentary service, a service visit fee of Rs. 800/- will be applicable for any additional requests
  4. If the replacement falls under Elixir's Replacement warranty, the service visit fee of Rs.800/- will be waived
  5. If the item does not fall under the Elixir's Replacement warranty (due to wear & tear, water leakage, rusting or physical damage, etc.) the bill will include both the replacement cost & the service visit fee of Rs.800/-

House/Flats Locked For Several Weeks

  • Make necessary arrangements to clean the units and keep the windows of all rooms open for some time in every 2 to 3 weeks.
  • There can be fungal issues on cabinets, fabrics and accessories due to the moisture content in the air, if the house/flat is being locked for more than 3 weeks make sure tower bolts and locks are always locked to avoid damages or alignment issues of doors.
  • Fungus appearing on laminated cabinets due to high moisture can be cleaned using a dry cloth, and it is not a product quality issue or damage.

Pest Control

  • Elixir's cabinets are made with Termite treated Plywood and 100% Gurjan plywood. Chances of pest attack are very low.
  • But it is better to conduct a pest control service once in 6 months to get rid of any pests.
  • Homes with laterite stones are highly prone to termite attacks, please make sure you do pest control on regular intervals.
